SlipStream Data appoints Paul Obert to Vice President of Sales
to help diversify markets and spearhead international sales growth
Waterloo, ON, CANADA - January 31, 2005 - SlipStream Data Inc. today announced the appointment of wireless industry entrepreneur Paul Obert to the position of Vice President of Sales. In this new role, Obert will manage the Company's channel development and aggressive growth strategies for sales of SlipStream's leading web and email acceleration software.
Obert brings a proven ability to lead emerging high-tech companies into new markets, backed by more than 20 years of global sales, marketing, customer service and channel development experience with start-ups, high growth companies and multinationals.

Before joining SlipStream, Obert was VP of Sales and Customer Service for Redline Communications, a leader in the design and manufacture of broadband wireless access solutions. Prior to Redline, Obert formed Diverse Telecom, USA Inc. as President and CEO and established a wireless product channel for telecom companies in China. He has also held senior sales positions with Innowave Broadband (Senior VP Sales & Marketing), P-Com Inc. (Senior VP Sales), California Microwave (VP Sales), and several high-tech start-ups. Obert has a BSEE from Valparaiso University in Indiana and an MBA from New Hampshire College
