We require a team-oriented self-starter who loves a high-paced changing world and is most comfortable in a multi-tasking environment. Your responsibilities will include working on software requirements, design and development for SlipStream SP, a client-server acceleration system used by millions of end users. Development is primarily conducted using C++ in Windows/UNIX environments.
Recent graduates are requested to provide up-to-date transcripts and cooperative education evaluation sheets where applicable, along with your resume and cover letter.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Development experience in Windows and UNIX environments
- Strong C++ programming experience
- Installation, administration and configuration of Linux or FreeBSD operating systems
- Knowledge of protocols such as TCP, UDP, IMAP, POP3 and SMTP
- Experience with developing socket-based applications in the UNIX or Windows environment with some of the preceding protocols
- Knowledge of data compression techniques an asset
- BASc in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering preferred; minimum average of 75%
